about

Mucho Cuidado is the first album by experimental Toronto folk/rock/art band FemBots. It was recorded at home over a series of Sundays between 1997 and 1999. The sound of the album relies heavily on found sounds, tape loops and tape splicing. Much of the equipment and instruments used were salvaged from thrift stores and dumpsters, returning there when the recording was finished.

Mucho Cuidado was self released by the band in 2000. It was rereleased by Paper Bag Records in 2004 but has been out of print for several years. In the years since Mucho Cuidado's release it has been featured in many film and television soundtracks. Most recently it has appeared in the CBC documentary series Farm Crime.

It is re-release here with it's original cover.
