Small Town Murder Scene is the second album by experimental Toronto folk/rock/art band FemBots. Influenced equally by John Cage and The Anthology of American Folk Music, Small Town Murder Scene finds the band perfecting their original combination of found sounds and tape manipulation and marrying it seamlessly with folk and country music . The record also sees the duo of Brian Poirier and David MacKinnon coming into their own as songwriters.
